Big and small travelers

For people preparing a cycling trip, we offer:

Every rental request must be done at least 1 week in advance to guarantee the availability!

Bike transport

We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by mishandling of the bike by transport companies.

TranzBag

For travel on CFF (Swiss Railways) trains, you can pay for the daily bike ticket at a price of 15 CHF through them, or rent a TranzBag from us, which lets you carry the bike free of charge as hand luggage on Swiss public transport.

  • Rental: 20 CHF/week (50 CHF deposit)

Scicon Aerocomfort MTB (1st version, softcase)

To transport your mountain bikes or trekking bikes by plane, we rent out a wheeled Scicon bag.

  • Flat fee of 50 CHF for packing and instructions (please request at least 2 weeks before the flight so we can check compatibility)
  • Rental: 30 CHF/14 days or 50 CHF/month (100 CHF deposit)

B&W Bike bag (1st version, hybrid)

To transport road bikes (100 mm QR front and 130 mm rear), we rent out a wheeled B&W bag.

  • Flat fee of 50 CHF for packing and instructions (please request at least 2 weeks before the flight so we can check compatibility)
  • Rental: 30 CHF/14 days or 50 CHF/month (100 CHF deposit)

GPS

All the GPS units we offer are ANT+ compatible.

Garmin Edge 25

The Garmin Edge 25 doesn't offer much in the way of turn-by-turn navigation, but it makes up for it with its small size. It lets you record GPS tracks of your trips with information such as elevation gain, average cadence, speed, time and distance covered, with rock-solid reliability. Bluetooth connection with the Garmin app or Gadgetbridge (open-source).

  • Rental: 10 CHF/week (40 CHF deposit)

Garmin Edge 800

The Garmin Edge 800, with its larger colour screen, is useful for expedition enthusiasts heading far from mobile coverage and off the beaten track. We supply it with the latest OpenStreetMap maps (OpenMapChest) for Europe (other regions on request at no charge). You can load your own GPS routes created in Garmin BaseCamp. Better battery life than the Edge 25.

  • Rental: 10 CHF/week (40 CHF deposit)

ANT+ cadence sensor

To record this data. Rental included free with a GPS rental.

  • On request, flat fee 5 CHF for the installation and configuration

Vaude panniers

We offer a pair of gray Vaude Aquaback panniers.

  • Rental: 15 CHF/week (70 CHF deposit)
  • On request, flat fee 10 CHF for adaptation to the luggage rack

Bicycle lighting

USB lights set with adjustable elastic mounts.
